Rejuvenate Facial Cupping Set By slō.

New to facial cupping?

Facial cupping is a natural technique rooted in ancient healing traditions, designed to support the lymphatic system, enhance circulation, and bring radiance to the skin. When practiced regularly, this gentle self-care ritual can help lift and tone the skin, reduce puffiness, and soften the appearance of fine lines.
Whether you're just starting or refining your technique, this step-by-step guide will show you how to use your facial cupping set with intention and care.

Why facial cupping?

Just 3–5 minutes a day can bring a number of benefits when practiced with consistency. Proper technique is key to:

  • Boosting circulation
  • Stimulating collagen and elastin production
  • Brightening the skin
  • Sculpting the chin, jawline, and neck
  • Improving skin tone and texture
  • Supporting oil balance and product absorption
  • Reducing puffiness and muscle tension
  • Softening fine lines and expression marks

Before you begin

  • Make sure your hands and face are clean.
  • Choose a time that fits into your daily rhythm. Morning can feel energising, while evening is grounding and calming.
  • To activate your lymphatic system, do 100 small jumps or a few minutes of movement.
  • Using the larger facial cup, gently pump key lymph areas to open the flow: above and below the collarbones, and just beneath the ears (tonsillar lymph nodes).
  • Take a few deep belly breaths and do 5–10 strokes on each area to fully activate your system.

How to use your facial cupping set
Step 1: Prep your skin
Apply a generous amount of facial oil or serum so the cups can glide easily without pulling. Reapply as needed during your ritual.

Step 2: Use the sweeping technique
Always begin at the centre of your face and sweep outward and upward toward the nearest lymph nodes. Movements should be slow, light, and purposeful.

  • Use the small cups on delicate areas: temples, brow bone, lips, and between the eyebrows.
  • Use the large cups on broader areas: cheeks, forehead, jawline, and neck.
  • With your free hand, gently anchor the skin behind the cup to support a smooth glide and prevent tugging.

Step 3: Use the staccato technique
Focus on areas like smile lines, and 11 lines between the eyebrows.

  • Gently squeeze and release the cup in quick, pulsing motions.
  • This stimulates circulation and encourages nutrient delivery at a deeper level.
  • Do this for 5 minutes, 1–3 times per week.

After your ritual

  • Drink plenty of water to help your body release toxins and stay hydrated.
  • Take a few grounding belly breaths to seal your ritual.
  • Wash your cups in warm, soapy water and allow them to dry completely.

Glow from within

Facial cupping is more than a beauty practice — it’s a moment to connect with yourself, slow down, and nourish your skin from the inside out.
