The Sculpting Body Cup by slō.

New to Body Cupping?
Welcome. Body cupping is an ancient healing modality rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, designed to stimulate circulation, release stagnation, and support lymphatic flow.
It’s a powerful yet gentle ritual that helps sculpt the body, reduce water retention, and reconnect you with your physical form — all in just a few minutes a day.
Whether you’re here to learn exactly how to use the Sculpting Body Cup, or simply curious about its benefits — you’re in the right place.

What Is Body Cupping?
Unlike traditional suction cupping (which often leaves marks), our Sculpting Body Cup is made from soft silicone and creates a gentle vacuum that glides across your skin.
This movement helps stimulate lymphatic drainage, boost circulation, reduce the appearance of cellulite, and enhance skin tone — all while inviting you into a deeper connection with your body.
Cupping also works on the fascia — the connective tissue that wraps around your muscles and organs. Over time, fascia can become tight or stuck, contributing to tension, stagnation, or discomfort.
By gently releasing these adhesions, cupping helps create more space and flow in the body.
Fascia is also known to store emotion. So as you soften and release physical tension, you may find yourself letting go of emotional blockages too — offering a deeper sense of release, presence, and renewal.

Why Use the Sculpting Body Cup?
Just a few mindful minutes can help:

  • Sculpt and tone the body
  • Reduce cellulite and water retention
  • Encourage lymphatic flow and detoxification
  • Support skin elasticity and circulation
  • Promote deep body awareness
  • Release stored emotional tension held in the fascia

As the fascia softens and the body opens, you may find not only physical relief — but a gentle, unexpected emotional release too.
It’s a practice that nourishes both body and spirit.

When to Use Your Sculpting Body Cup
You can body cup daily or a few times per week — depending on your needs, your rhythm, and your cycle.
We recommend cupping after dry brushing and showering, when your skin is clean, warm, and your lymph is already flowing.
Important: Always apply a generous amount of body oil before cupping — your skin must be well-lubricated to allow the cup to glide smoothly and comfortably.
Tip: The Sculpting Body Cup also glides beautifully in the shower when using an oil-based soap. This can be a nourishing option on days when you don’t have time for a full ritual but still want to support circulation and lymphatic flow.
Let it be gentle. Let it feel good. Let it be yours.

Before You Begin

  • Hydrate: Drink a glass of water to support lymph movement.
  • Open your lymph nodes: Lightly tap just above the collarbones, under the armpits, in the groin area, and behind the knees.
  • Apply oil: Use a high-quality body oil to ensure the cup can move smoothly. The richer the glide, the better the results.

How to Use the Sculpting Body Cup
Find a quiet moment in your day — ideally after dry brushing and showering — when your body feels warm and your mind is calm. This is your time to tune in.
Aim for 2–5 minutes per area, every other day or as your body needs.
To begin, apply a generous amount of body oil or use an oil-based soap in the shower to help the cup glide effortlessly.
Then, gently press the top and bottom of the Sculpting Body Cup to create suction. Start with light to medium pressure — there’s no need to go deep.
The goal is movement, not intensity.
Thighs
Start on the front of your thigh using 5 gentle circular motions, repeating 3 times.
Then sweep side-to-side (left to right) 3 times.
Repeat these movements on the outer thigh, inner thigh, and back of the thigh. Include the buttocks if desired.
Stomach & Waist
Use light to medium suction and make clockwise circular motions around the belly 10–15 times.
Then move to the sides of your waist (love handles) and do circular strokes, followed by up-and-down and side-to-side movements (10–15 times each).
Always move with intention, guiding fluid toward the lower abdomen or bikini line.
If the suction feels too strong, simply squeeze the cup less to reduce pressure.
A little goes a long way — and the most powerful results come from consistency, not force.

After Cupping
Your skin may feel warm or look slightly flushed — a beautiful sign that circulation has been activated and energy is moving.
You might also notice a bit of redness or itchiness — this is completely normal. It means your blood and lymph are flowing.
There should never be pain — always let your body guide the pressure and pace.
If you’d like, finish with a cool rinse to further stimulate the lymphatic system and tone the skin.
Apply more oil if needed, and take a few slow breaths or moments of stillness to let your body land and integrate.
Don’t forget to drink water — your body has just opened and supported one of its most vital detox pathways.
Let it rest. Let it receive. Let it renew.

Begin Your Ritual with the Sculpting Body Cup
Designed with love and intention to sculpt, tone, and awaken your skin — while supporting your inner flow.
This is your moment to reconnect — with your body, your breath, and your self.
