The Story Behind The slō. Rituals Library
There are seasons in life that quietly change us.
For me, becoming a mother was one of them.
People talk about birth as a portal, and I now understand why. On the other side of it, something shifted. I found myself slowing down, questioning what really mattered, and feeling drawn towards a gentler way of living. In the quiet hours between feeds, slow mornings with Rey, and moments of unexpected stillness, one thought kept returning:
We don't need more. We need places to return to.
The slō. Rituals Library was born from that thought.
But its story began long before motherhood.
The rituals inside these pages are the same ones that carried me through years of fertility challenges, supported me during pregnancy, and continue to anchor me in early motherhood. They've also been there through countless ordinary seasons of life—moments of stress, overwhelm, uncertainty, and the simple desire to feel a little more connected to myself again.
So, what is the slō. Rituals Library?
The Rituals Library is a 73-page digital guide designed to help you create a slower, more intentional rhythm through simple daily practices.
Over the course of 21 days, you'll explore rituals for body, nourishment, nervous system care and reflection. Each day includes one core ritual, an optional deeper practice if you have a little more time, and space to reflect on what you're noticing along the way.
Inside you'll find practices inspired by lymphatic care, breathwork, nourishing meals, movement, mindfulness, journaling, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Reiki, acupressure, nature, rest and more. Together, they reflect the rituals, philosophies and practices that have shaped my own journey through different seasons of life.
But this library isn't about following my routine.
It's an invitation to explore, adapt and discover what feels right for you—so that, over time, these rituals become your own.
By the end of the 21 days, my hope isn't that you'll have completed a guide. It's that you'll have a collection of practices that feel like home—rituals you can return to, in whatever season of life you're in.
And because this journey is about intention rather than perfection, you don't need any slō. tools to begin. Every ritual can be practised with what you already have. If you own slō. tools—or choose to explore them later—you'll find ways to incorporate them, but they're always optional.
The practice has never been about the tools.
It's about coming home to yourself.
